Beautiful, remote, low lying the Scilly Isles are off the West coast of Cornwall, accessible by boat or plane. They are beautiful, sub tropical but also somewhere the Celtic saints gravitated to, being right on the 'edge of the world'. They considered them to be a 'thin place.' I do too.
