St Constantine gave his name to the beautiful Constantine Bay on the North coast of Cornwall. Windswept, wild and tumbling with surf, it's easy to see why he was drawn to this spot. Although his ancient well and the site of his prayer community is now inland, hidden amongst the greens of a golf course, it would originally have been on the cliff edge, 'the edge of the world'. Over time sand has encroached causing it to be inland. The well is housed in a stone building and the water still runs crystal clear. It feels holy even today and a place to pause and pray.
