St Piran's well is house in a granite fronted well house. It's thought to be a very ancient well and is probably associated with St Piran himself, as local places such as Perranaworthal and Perranwell are named after him. Well signposted so easy to find, it's a beautiful well with clear running water and liverwort greenery. It was thought to be a place of healing and ailing children were brought here. Deposits of iron have reddened the rock where the water has flowed.
