One of the most picturesque settings for any church, St Just in Roseland is situated by a tidal creek and on the ancient site of a Celtic monk. A well can be found a little way along the path skirting the creek. It is a beautiful place, worth lingering in and praying, as well as exploring the sub tropical gardens of the churchyard which contain many scriptures inscribed in stone.
