Brecon cathedral has long been a place of Christian worship and pilgrimage. This beautiful painting entitled PEACE is situated in a tucked away corner. I find it highly evocative, illustrating the Bible verse, the lion will lie down with the lamb, Isaiah 11:6. The faces are really beautiful and the child and lion truly carry peace. In a time of prayer once in St Keyne's chapel in the cathedral, I had a vision of the lion leaping out of the painting and coming over to me bringing peace. Jesus is known as the Lion of Judah.
