Scarlet's Well, Bodmin

Scarlet's Well is on the edge of Bodmin down a narrow lane. It feels rural and unspoilt. The well itself is in rather an ugly housing but the water is crystal clear and bubbling out of the rock as a spring. Apparently the temperature is constantly consistent and never changes. 

This well though not associated with a specific Celtic saint was known for its healing properties and under the care in later years of Bodmin priory. It became so popular that the town council had to restrict access to it.
