Fables and stories about the Celtic saints are often accounts handed down through oral tradition by travelling story tellers. This is known as hagiography - a mix of history and legend. However, many of the stories tell of things which Bible characters experienced: power over evil, miracles of healing, supernatural interventions. It's easy for modern minds to dismiss such tales but many are realising the supernatural Spiritual realm is just as real today as it ever has been and that there is truth behind the fables, if we will just put aside our scepticism and come with an open mind.
